One thing that sin wants to break up is a marriage. Christian marriage counseling can give you the biblical perspective which combats sins attempt to confuse you with many different feelings.
As I mention many times it’s feelings that we are vulnerable to, when these get confused this is the time we do things out of character. Bad things are said, counseling can help repair some of the damage.
Purpose
Christian marriage counseling is a tool to help people in troubled relationships learn to understand one another and God better. We might think, “I don’t need counseling, I can solve my own problems just fine.
In some cases this is true, but in many cases the damage is severe, an outsider’s perspective is needed. Christian marriage counseling can help you see what God wants from your marriage.

- Loss of Closeness
Whether christian or not, these problems are faced by all. Usually one problem leads to another and before you know it you have a mess. It gets so complicated you just can’t do it yourself.
If you believe sin plays a part in destruction of your thoughts, then we have to recognize the presence of an enemy in a marriage.
From the beginning, marriage has been part of God’s plan for His creation, and Satan (sin) is vehemently against this precious tradition. If we need evidence that we are in trouble, just take a look at the divorce rate both in Christian and non-christian environments.
Find Counseling
Effective counseling reassures us that God cares and that He desires to be a central part in our marriage. Christian marriage counselors share and encourage these precepts.
Ask family and friends for referrals. Some religions carry a much different view of marriage, I would say christian has the closest parallel to the bible. This is such a subjective subject I can only tell you what I believe.
So the question is, how is your marriage? Is there a virus threatening to take hold? Does your relationship need realignment? Are you and your spouse following a biblical precedent?
You might even review how to rid yourself of sin in general, this might be all that’s needed to patch things up.
