I’m Fed Up With Death
July 23rd, 2010 | Author: adminI don’t know about you, but I’m feed up with death. The older I get, the more people I know are dying. I don’t mind death, it’s a part of life, what I don’t like is the way people die.
It seems people don’t just die, there’s a lot of suffering involved these days. This could be due to the stress we have in life these days, it could be in part due to the toxins in our food, water and air. The fact of the matter is people just don’t die, the big thing these days is cancer.
Suffering
I know sin causes people to eat wrong, drink to much, take drugs, have emotional suffering, emotional problems, anxiety, and the list goes on.
You spend your whole life saving and preparing for this, seems like life is playing a cruel game of one step forward and two steps back. Does it do any good to complain? Not at all, one has to understand how life works and get with the program.
I hear people say “I guess that’s just the way it is when you get old. Expect too have high blood pressure, count on your cholesterol going out of whack, arthritis, who doesn’t have it.” Folks are expecting to be suffering when they get old, who planted this seed. You know where this comes from.
I’ll Tell You Why
When sin creeps in all sorts of things happen. Man starts thinking he’s God. He gets greedy and full of himself, Doctors spend 2 days out of 8 years of studies learning about nutrition. The rest of the time they are learning about which drug is used with the various diseases.
Now you have a whole slew of people who view their Doctor as God. My doctor said this, so it must be so. Well, everyday were finding out that there’s a lot of mistakes being made in the medical field.
I’m only using this as an example of how man has turned what nature had under control, into a greed driven, out of control mess. In the attempt to mess around with death, we have created a lot of suffering.
Fed Up With Death
If we could only just die a quick and painless death. It just doesn’t happen like that. The hospitals are full, the pharmacies are growing, it’s almost a given that most people will be on some form of medication as they age and they sell insurance for you when you go to the nursing home.
What’s the answer? Look at it this way, our society has set up a system where we have more worries, we lack sleep, our nutrition is depleting, were to tired to get exercise and sunshine, and were to busy to think about it.
You will have to take the bull by the horns on this one. You will have to change what is needed to get back in line with what nature has said you should do to stay healthy. If this means giving up some material things, then so be it. Sin will be telling you not to because you need all those “Things”, but what’s worth more to you?
This might mean changing what you eat and drink. I know, that little voice in your head says “you only live once”, the problem is are you really living if your suffering in pain the last 15 years of your life?
You can’t outsmart life or death, if life says eating certain foods, drinking water, getting exercise and so on is what you need, then doing the opposite will get you what you see others get, suffering.
When you make those changes for a better life, and sin sneaks in telling you to forget it, tell sin to go to hell, your just sending him home, no harm.
